Code of Conduct

When you register for the USMA Conference or register your company for USMA’s Supplier Networking session, you agree to support the spirit and practices expressed here.

The Utility Supply Management Alliance (USMA) annual conference was originally founded as a non-commercial gathering to foster relationships within the electric utility industry. The founding board members believed that strong alliances would provide a solid foundation during times of crisis.

For 30 years, the USMA has continued building a non-commercial event and has become the premier industry gathering.

To ensure the best possible experience for USMA attendees, the size of the event will be limited to the first 700 registrants.  The organization’s goal is to be the best, not the largest.

We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that USMA values respectful communication practices and does not endorse mass email marketing blasts. We kindly ask all attendees to refrain from engaging in this type of communication. Let’s uphold the spirit of professionalism and integrity that defines USMA. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

The USMA does not allow private events designed to remove attendees from scheduled conference sessions and social functions.  The board of directors retains the right to ask any person and/or company that violates this policy to leave the event, forfeit any fees paid, and not be invited to return in future years.

USMA continues its mission of providing sessions focused on delivering value you can take home and apply to keep your supply chain safe and reliable.

Securing entry to the USMA conference has become the hottest commodity in the electric utility purchasing sector
