About the Hotel
The Westin Kierland Resort is a full resort with every expected amenity. It sits overlooking three golf courses with a beautiful view. At the resort you would believe you are in the foothills. The grounds are a quiet oasis. However, walk out the front door of the hotel and turn right and you are a block from a first class shopping and dining area. Old Scottsdale is nearby with additional activities such as art galleries, museums, shopping and more restaurants.
This family friendly resort features golf, tennis, basketball, Pickleball and lots of water activities. Surf the Flow Rider, float the lazy river or lounge by the adult pool. Enjoy some time in the spa and then stop by the hotel’s Scotch Library for a little tasting. The hotel offers “an evening of Scotches”, a special tasting event on most Fridays at 6pm. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Drive time – approximately 25 minutes
Departing from the airport, head east on E. Sky Harbor Boulevard using the left lane. Keep left at the fork and follow the signs for Downton/I-10 W/AZ-51/Phoenix and merge onto I-10 West.
Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 147/A-B for AZ-51 North
Continue on AZ-51 for approximately 11.7 miles
Take exit 12 for Greenway Road
Keep right at the fork and follow the signs for Greenway Road East and merge onto East Greenway Road.
Continue 4.5 miles on East Greenway, turn left onto the Westin Front Drive.
Transportation and Parking
Taxi service is available outside all terminals. One way taxi to the hotel is typically $50 – $60 plus tip (rate may vary due to traffic conditions)
Private car transportation can be reserved through Transtyle Transportation by calling 480-340-0055. Sample costs are typically $60 to $80. There is an additional charge for meet and greet.

Hotel Room Safety Tips
Admittance: Never admit repair people or strangers to your guest room without checking with management. Never adamants persons with unsolicited deliveries. Always check the peephole before opening your door to anyone.
Disclosure: When in the presence of strangers, do not reveal the name of your hotel, your room number or your plans for being away from the hotel.
Medical Emergency: Press the Emergency button on your guest room phone or dial 22 For non emergency needs, the hotel can provide a list of local hospitals and doctors. There is a pharmacy within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.
In-Room Safes: The Westin provides complimentary in-room safes in each guest room in the credence under your television. Follow the instructions on the safe. Use this for your valuable including your laptop or tablet. The hotel provides safe deposit boxes at the front desks at not charge. DO NOT leave valuables in your car or in the room (unless in the safe).
Fire: The hotel is equipped with a fire alarm system. If the alarm is sounded or if you smell smoke – test your door to see if it is hot before opening. If the door is hot, place a wet town at the base of the door and move to your balcony or patio. Always determine accessibility of the hallway before opening the door – by using the peephole and testing the door.
Security: If you notice anything suspicious, please report to the front desk or ask for security from your room phone.
Know where everything is located: When you go to bed at night, be sure to place your phone, wallet/purse, ID and room key in one place where you can quickly pick them up, in the dark. If you are awakened in the night you will be disoriented and knowing where these items are will help speed your evacuation.
Keycard: Safeguard your keycard. If lost or stolen, report to the front desk as quickly as possible and they will cancel the prior card and issue a newly coded card. When you check out of the hotel – DO NOT leave the key card in the room, put it in the Express Check box or give it to the front desk.
Room doors and windows: Make sure your room window or patio door is securely locked before your leave the room and before your retire for the evening. Make sure the door closes securely behind you when you exit.
Iron: If you use the iron in your room, please make sure you unplug it after use.
