USMA’s Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit the ALS Foundation
This tournament is held to benefit the ALS Foundation in memory of past USMA President, Frank Bennett, BCHydro.
The tournament will play the President’s Reserve Course at the Hermitage. It was designed by architect Denis Griffiths (designer Atlanta’s Chateau Élan Resort Courses), and trails through 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands and along the banks of the beautiful Cumberland River.
Playing up to 7200 yards, The President’s Reserve can offer any golfer as much challenge as one might desire, yet be a pleasurable golfing experience for even the occasional golfer. The President’s Reserve has been recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the TOP 10 in TENNESSEE. The course has just been renovated and is in beautiful shape.
Fee includes: course fee, shared cart, driving range, breakfast, lunch, $50 Nike Bucks and prizes. Single golfers are paired randomly. If you have a preference for your pairing, please use the field displayed in the registration screen to enter your team members or email to [email protected].
Golf clubs are available for a rental fee from the club – contact Phil@meetingtrack to reserve clubs (specify right or left handed).
Remember to sign-up early because the fees increase closer to the tournament date and space is limited.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Frank Bennett with BC Hydro of Vancouver, BC, was a founding Board Member of USMA. He served as Chairman and played an important role in program development and USMA’s strategic plan. Several years ago he was stricken with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and soon passed away. Frank loved golf and was a very important part of the annual conference and golf tournament. In 2006 the USMA Board of Directors decided to name the annual tournament in memory of Frank and designate the ALS Association as the tournament benefactor.
