2022 USMA Frank Bennett Golf Tournament
This tournament is held to benefit the ALS Foundation. There is a separate fee for this event.
The Golf Fee includes: course fee, shared cart, driving range, breakfast, lunch and prizes. Single golfers are paired randomly. If you have a preference for your pairing, please send to Austin2022@USMA.com. You may purchase a foursome and provide your own team.
Need to rent golf clubs? Golf clubs are available for a rental fee from the club – contact us at Austin2022@usma.com to reserve clubs (specify right or left handed). Clubs must be reserved no later than Friday, May 6, 2022.

About the Course
Avery Ranch Golf Club features the best golf in Central Texas and a real Hill Country golf experience. Former Jack Nicklaus Architect, Andy Raugust, has blended panoramic vistas and gentle rolling hills with oak-lined fairways and a 60-acre lake. The 18-hole championship course offers 5 tee placements that will challenge the low-handicapper while creating an enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of players.
The course begins with a very challenging front 9, including the picturesque #7 signature hole. The back 9 is a unique blend of three par 3's, three par 4's and three par 5's, allowing players to use a more risk/reward strategy. The round closes with "the best finishing hole in Austin". The 18th hole is a beautiful 477-yard, par 4 bordering Avery Lake and providing a fantastic view of the Texas Hill Country. It is truly the perfect end to your round.

6:30 am – Bus departs the Downtown Austin Marriott (304 E Caesar Chavez St, Austin)
7:00 am – Check in at the Avery Ranch Golf Club
6:30 am – Breakfast at the course, driving range open
8:00 am – Shotgun Start
12:30 pm – Buffet Lunch and Awards Presentations (time may change due to speed of play)
2:00 pm – Bus departs from course to the Downtown Austin Marriott (time is estimated)

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Frank Bennett with BC Hydro of Vancouver, BC, was a founding Board Member of USMA. He served as Chairman and played an important role in program development and USMA's strategic plan. Several years ago he was stricken with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and soon passed away. Frank loved golf and was a very important part of the annual conference and golf tournament. In 2006 the USMA Board of Directors decided to name the annual tournament in memory of Frank and designate the ALS Association as the tournament benefactor.
